Envoys conference on economic diplomacy on December 27-28

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and the Board of Investment is hosting an envoys conference on economic diplomacy from December 27 to December 28 here in the Federal Capital.

The conference, which would be participated by Pakistani ambassadors and heads of missions from select cities, representatives of public and private sectors, and government institutions, will deliberate ways and means to enhance Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and trade, particularly exports.

In addition to Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the event will be attended by the Finance, Revenue and Economic Affairs Minister Asad Umer, Advisor to the Prime Minister (PM) on Commerce, Textiles, Industry and Production and Investment Abdul Razzak Dawood, Advisor to the PM on Institutional Reforms and Austerity Dr Ishrat Hussain and Board of Investment Chairman Haroon Sharif.

PM Imran Khan is expected to grace the concluding session on December 28.
