NAB inquiry against me will end soon: Zulfi Bukhari

LONDON: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis Zulfiqar Bukhari on Sunday said that there is need to strengthen all institutions and the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) inquiry against him will end soon.

While talking to the media, he said, “We have taken notice of the long queues at airports in connection with the registration of mobile phones. There is no tax on the mobile phones kept for personal usage. We are simplifying the process for registration of mobile phones.”

He said that the problems facing overseas Pakistanis are on the top of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s agenda. Legislation will be enacted to address the problems faced by holders of dual nationality, he added.

He also said that there was a need to change NAB laws.

Replying to a question, he said that the death of a professor in handcuffs is deplorable. This incident should be investigated, he added.
