KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari presided over a meeting of party leaders at Bilawal House on Sunday to discuss the current political situation.
Those who attended the meeting include PPP Central Information Secretary Maula Bux Chandio, Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, Jameel Soomro, Senator Annie Marri, Sindh Minister Nasir Shah, Murtaza Wahab, Aajiz Dhamrah, Surendar Valasai, Fida Dhakkan and Usman Ghazi.
Meanwhile, PPP senior leader Nafeesa Shah said that the party will accept unbiased accountability, however, revenge politics would be resisted.
“The accountability of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan, Punjab senior minister Aleem Khan and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Khan Tareen should also be done,” she said in a statement.
She said that PPP knows about those who were hurt by the charter of democracy.
