LAHORE: Pakistan’s ace goalkeeper Imran Butt announced his retirement from international hockey on Thursday.
Butt disclosed his decision on the social networking site Twitter late Thursday night.

The 30 years old goalkeeper said that he will reveal the reason behind his sudden resignation in a press conference.
Butt earlier announced that the hockey world cup in Bhubaneswar, India will be his last international event.
Butt, who has played 156 international games, is the brother of former captain Pakistan Hockey Team, Rehan Butt.
