ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday appointed former law minister Zahid Hamid as his legal advisor.
In a statement released to the media, the opposition leader and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president appreciated Hamid’s expertise and service in the legal fraternity, adding that he worked tirelessly with a passion to serve the nation in the previous tenure.
Hamid is thus mandated to provide his recommendations to the PML-N leaders on the legal cases.
PML-N Spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said that Hamid will assist Shehbaz in legal and parliamentary matters.
