Marriyum says Nawaz Sharif will stand vindicated

PML-N Spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Wednesday that Prime Minister Imran Khan is petrified of her party’s leadership which is why their presence makes him insecure, adding that Nawaz Sharif will be vindicated in all cases against him.

Talking to the media outside the NAB court, Marriyum said that Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif and a number of PML-N Leaders were targets of the “worst political victimisation campaign” in recent history which is a travesty of justice, abuse of power and destruction of national institutions.

“Despite worst political infiltration of state institutions, the PTI was unable to implicate PML-N supremo and president under any allegation of corruption or wrongdoing of public money,” Marriyum stressed.

Nawaz Sharif, she said, had served the country with absolute devotion and out of pure love for the people.

Marriyum said that Pakistan is currently being governed by thieves, liars and deceivers who have the most negative approach and agenda. “This incompetent group knows nothing but to lie to the people and deceive them with distracting told of accusations against PML-N while they loot national treasure and jeopardise the future of the country,” she claimed.

The former info minister said that it was the legal and constitutional right of Saad Rafiq that production order for him be issued.

“Speaker Asad Qaisar had said on the floor of the house that he would never let the parliament down. The Speaker had set positive precedence by issuing Shehbaz Sharif’s production orders. I hope that he honours his words and parliamentary traditions by issuing Saad Rafique’s production orders at the earliest”, she demanded.

The PML-N spokesperson condemned “needles victimisation” of Hanif Abbasi’s daughter, asking what law permits the MS to record and spread a private phone call. She called for an inquiry into the matter.
