KARACHI: After a 30-year service at Oxford University Press (OUP) Pakistan, Managing Director Ameena Saiyid, recipient of Sitara-e-Imtiaz, Knight of the Order of Arts and Literature (Government of France), has announced her retirement.
She wished her former colleagues well and thanked those who worked closely with her to help OUP Pakistan grow. “She will continue to work tirelessly as always to promote education, the culture of reading and writing in Pakistan as well as literature festivals,” said a statement issued to media.
