11 held with drugs, looted valuables in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police arrested 11 outlaws, recovered drugs and looted valuables during separate actions in different areas of the federal capital on Friday.

In line with directives of SSP (Operations) Waqaruddin Syed, the Islamabad Police enhance operations against criminals and drug pushers.

The Aabpara police arrested two accused, Gul Zeb Iqbal and Aftab Iqbal, after recovery of 1.015 kilogrammes hashish and one bottle branded liquor during a raid in sector G-7/3-3.

The Secretariat and Kohsar police arrested two bootleggers Aashir Nabeel and Talhat Ali with seven and 18 bottles liquor respectively.

Two accused, Muhammad Waseem and Muhammad Ishtiaq, were arrested with 475 grammes hashish during a raid in the jurisdiction of Bahara Kahu police station.

The CIA police arrested a bootlegger Aurangzeb with 30 litres of liquor.

The Industrial Area police during an operation in slum areas of Sector I-9/1 arrested Ilyas Masih with 10 bottles liquor and Shamsher Gul with a dagger.

The Tarnol police arrested two criminals Wasil Khan and Ismail Khan with stolen valuables.

The police confiscated the recovered drugs, dagger and other valuables, and after registering separate cases into all incidents at concerned police stations, started an investigation.
