ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan’s ability and his cabinet’s bad performance is enough to pull down Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s (PTI) government, therefore, the opposition will have not to bother about this task.
“Sometimes his wife informs him that he is the prime minister (PM). The point to ponder is the PM saying that snap elections can take place. Why should the opposition need to pull down the government of a PM who is not sure about completing his term? His ability and cabinet’s performance are enough to pull down his government”, she said while talking to the media outside an Accountability Court (AC) on Wednesday.
“This is a settled matter that the premier himself does not know what he is doing and thinking. He gave a statement on TV two days back about Finance Minister Asad Umar, saying that the dollar’s value is increasing. Two days after it he said that he came to know about the dollar’s scaled up value from television,” she added.
“The federal information minister and education minister are absent since the two last days. They have not been seen anywhere. Teachers are staging a sit-in at D-chowk and the government is not hearing their grievances. The government will go to those teachers on Tareen’s orders,” she further added.
She underlined that Maryam Nawaz was active with her father, stating that the former premier’s daughter is under shock due to her mother’s death.
The PML-N spokesperson also called upon the government to constitute a medical board soon for medical checkups of Mian Shehbaz Sharif.
