No progress has been made in investigation into the murder of former Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam Sami (JUI-S) chief Maulana Samiul Haq despite the passage of one month, a local media outlet reported on Tuesday.
While the police was required to submit an interim charge sheet within 14-days of the murder, the police on Monday did submit one in court.
However, no prime accused is identified in the sheet.
Maulana Sami’s son Maulana Hamidul Haq met with police officials over the investigation but said that so far details of the investigation have not been shared with him.
