RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General (COAS) Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday appreciated the services of renowned educationist Syed Azhar Hussain Abidi for the promotion of education in the country.
According to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement, Abidi called on the army chief at the General Headquarters (GHQ). The army’s media cell said that Abidi has provided counselling and assisted more than 15,000 Pakistani students, including wards of martyrs, for their studies abroad on full or partial scholarships over the last two decades.
