ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah Khan has said that one plunderer of the national exchequer has been made the Punjab Assembly (PA) speaker while no action is being taken against the second plunderer, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Babar Awan, despite the filing of a corruption reference against him.

He made these remarks while talking to the media outside the Supreme Court (SC) here on Tuesday.

He underlined that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has failed in running the government and he himself would one day say that he is not being allowed to run the government.

He went on to say that the constitution allows expressing fair comments if anybody is affected by a court’s verdict.

He held that the physical remand of Mian Shahbaz Sharif was only for revoking the contract of a contractor and the matter was settled between the Ashiana authority and the contractor.

He alleged the cases against opposition leaders are running at the speed of 1000 kilometres per minute while and cases against government figures are proceeding at snail pace.

He remarked that the opposition itself is giving Imran Khan time to relax but it won’t be the case for long.
