Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Khan Tareen Tuesday put down rumours regarding any rift with Finance Minister Asad Umar, a private media outlet reported.
Speaking to media persons in Faisalabad, Tareen termed the reports as “baseless” and said that there was no meeting held between them recently.
To a question about the ministers who will be asked to tender their resignations, Tareen said that Prime Minister Imran Khan would know their names.
Earlier, the Ministry of Finance had also dismissed reports of an altercation between Asad Umar, Adviser to the PM on Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood and senior PTI leader Jahangir Tareen.
