LAHORE: Famous Pakistani actor Babar Ali left the country for the United States after receiving death threats from unknown extremists.
Ali had previously lodged an FIR (first information report) over the threats at the Defence Police Station in the provincial capital earlier this month.
The actor details in the FIR that he had been receiving death threats on phone by unknown individuals after the airing of a TV drama.
Babar Ali elaborated that other artists had received threats from extremists as well.
