MURREE: Zulfiqar Malik has been appointed as the Cluster General Manager for Pearl Continental (PC) Hotel, Bhurban and New Project.
Previously, he has served as Lahore PC GM. Malik brings forth more than 25 years of diversified management experience in the hospitality industry of Pakistan and abroad.
After concluding his educational journey with a General Manager Certification Program (GMP) from the well-known Cornell University in New York, Malik seasoned his educational skills with a diverse and extensive international experience in Paris Marriott Hotel, Doha Marriott and Riyadh Marriott.
Domestically, he has been appointed in Islamabad Marriott, Karachi Marriott, PC Karachi, PC Bhurban and finally PC Lahore, seasoning his career path with remarkable achievements and credentials as he managed and led different divisions and departments during this progression.
Malik showed resilience and commitment to this company and his position when he successfully re-opened Islamabad Marriot Hotel after the 20th September 2008, terrorist attack. He successfully led and mobilised his talented team and took Hashoo Group of Hotels towards improved performance and new heights. Amongst his many achievements, Zulfiqar Malik is the receiver of various awards including the ‘General Manager of the Year Award’ from Marriot International Inc.
With his extensive knowledge in the field and wealth of experience as the GM of all major hotels of Hashoo Group- Hospitality Division, the owners and Board of Directors (BoD) are confident that Malik will lead PC Hotel, Bhurban to new progressive statures and milestones.
