NAB to investigate one senator, two others in Malam Jabba corruption case

PESHAWAR: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has decided to include one senator and two key government functionaries from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) in the investigation of Malam Jabba corruption case.

According to media reports, NAB has decided to investigate one senator and two more key government functionaries in the scam of leasing out 272 kanals of land illegally.

These three figures were holding high positions in government during the Malam Jabba scandal.

It is pertinent to mention here that NAB has already recorded statements of former KP chief minister Pervez Khattak and former chief secretary Azam Khan.

Sources said that probe into Malam Jabba scam has entered into its final phase. A significant headway is likely to be made in this case at the beginning of December.
