100 days performance of PTI govt widely hailed in KP

PESHAWAR: People from all sections of the society here on Friday lauded the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government’s 100 days performance, saying that the newly introduced reforms would help serve as a roadmap to the solution of the country’s problems.

Member National Assembly (MNA) Nasir Khan Musazai, while eulogising PTI’s 100 days performance in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), told APP that a strong foundation was laid by the PTI government for building a ‘Naya Pakistan.’

He said that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan’s 100 days performance was being appreciated by all in the province. “In KP, reforms and projects completed in 26 sectors, including the preparation of a draft legislation for the local government (LG) system, civil and judicial reforms, as well as plans for the extension of Sehat Insaf Cards to merged tribal districts, were highly praised,” he said.

“Strengthening of LG system, police force, judicial and civil service reforms, provision of jobs to youth and development of the tourism sector would provide direct relief to people,” he added.

Financial and economic expert Sumbul Riaz also appreciated the PTI government’s 100 days performance and reforms for the strengthening of Pakistan’s economy, health, education, empowerment of youth and women.

She said that the elimination of corruption was imperative for good governance and a strong economy. “The PTI government has brought a revolution in education, health, agriculture, social and youth sectors during the last five years, whereas the new reforms and projects would bring even more positive changes in the lifestyle of Pakistani’s in by 2023,” said Sumbul.

She said that the government’s decision to extend Sehat Insaf Card to tribal districts in KP would provide free treatment facilities to over eight lakh tribal families and the decision to allocate Rs5 billion for the provision of interest-free loans to youth would help them get dignified jobs.

Retired information officer Misal Khan also eulogised PTI’s 100 days performance in social, economic and tourism sectors. He said that 20 new tourist sites were identified in KP and the Bank of Khyber (BoK) has been made apolitical, as a result of which its profit has increased.

“The KP government has taken Rs36 billion Net Hydel Profit’s arrears and once it is received, the majority’s of KP financial issues would be addressed,” he said while appreciating special projects and reforms for the uplift of agriculture, clean water, horticulture and livestock that he said would largely benefit the rural population.

He urged the media to avoid speculations and hype regarding the 100 days plan.

The people of Hazara also expressed satisfaction over the incumbent government’s 100 days performance and expressed full confidence in the policies of PM Khan.

Another PTI supporter Majeed Khan said that corruption and poverty are the root causes of Pakistan’s backwardness and lauded the government’s efforts for the eradication of corruption and alleviation of poverty.

Majeed opined that fake accounts worth Rs 375 billion have been found which is a big success in a short span of time. “PM Imran Khan has also made successful visits of Saudi Arabia, China and Malaysia and its positive effects have now started visible,” he added.

“The performance of PTI is much better than previous governments of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and our prime minister has handled all issues in line with the aspirations of the people,” he stated.

A local named Nazim Bhadar Khan said that the government should be given full credit for launching the mega ‘Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme’ in the country, besides taking concrete measures for strengthening the governance system and eliminating corruption.

He also lauded PM Imran Khan’s resolve to promote tourism, agriculture and fisheries as it would bring positive changes in the lives of ordinary people.
