Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) decided to seek suggestions regarding the changes in the party’s constitution from its members and activists.

According to a local media report, the decision to seek suggestions was made at a meeting of the special committee, headed by newly-appointed Secretary General of PTI Arshad Dad.

It was reported that the Dad said that the committee was constituted by PTI Chairman Imran Khan to reorganise the party and review its constitution and these included those who had also previously played a role in drafting the party’s present constitution.

Furthermore, it was stated that the committee will continue to meet for four days, following which the recommendations for amendments to the constitution will be formulated.

Earlier, on November 6, the PTI began the process of the party reorganisation with the 21-member committee to review the party’s constitution and seeking applications from aspirants for its various organisational posts.
