KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and Provincial Minister for Local Bodies Saeed Ghani has claimed that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan has collected illegal funds for charity organisations, adding that the payment of fine qualifies as her confession of the crime.
In a statement issued by Saeed Ghani on Thursday, the PPP leader said that the premier’s sister has illegally collected funds for charity organisations like Shaukat Khanam and Namal University.
He said that the payment of a fine by Aleema Khan is a confession of her crime that is similar to money laundering.
“We want a fair investigation of Aleema Khan’s case so that all misunderstandings are resolved,” he said while adding that the scandal has a direct relation with PM Khan so, he should give a justification on the matter as well.
He further said that we will never accept a separate law for Imran Khan.
