ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed his resolve to follow the ideology of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and philosophy of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto by continuing his struggle against anti-democratic forces in Pakistan.

In his statement on the eve of PPP’s 51st Founding Day on Thursday, Zardari said that the PPP leadership and workers have set an example of historic struggles against tyranny and injustices.

He said that the PPP reiterates its resolve to keep striving for the rule of law and supremacy of Parliament.

Zardari further said that PPP restored the constitution of 1973 and made the Parliament all-powerful and gave the people of KP and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) an identity, thus realising Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto’s dream.

“PPP will continue to fight against those who want to see the Parliament weakened,” the PPPP President concluded.
