SHEIKHUPURA: Three, including two lady doctors and a nurse, Tuesday were suspended over negligence after a woman gave birth to her child outside Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Muridke.
According to the details, the woman, Safeena, was shifted to the hospital after going into labour.
However, the hospital staff used delaying tactics in admitting the woman following which she gave birth to the child outside the emergency block of the hospital.
Sheikhupura Health Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr Mian Muhammad, upon receiving the information, reached the hospital and suspended gynecologist Dr Farhana, WMO Dr Anum and a nurse, Samia.
He also directed THQ Muridke Medical Superintendent (MS) Dr Adnan to probe the incident and present a report within three days.
