PM Khan’s nephew reportedly slaps FIA official at Islamabad court

Prime Minister Imran Khan’s nephew Hassan Niazi reportedly manhandled an official of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in Islamabad on Monday.

According to a report in the local media, Niazi was appointed as a counsel by the owner of a website, which broadcast PPP leader Faisal Raza Abidi’s interview, to represent them in the court. However, his appointee replaced him with another counsel infuriating Niazi, who then engaged in verbal scuffle with him.

Meanwhile, FIA’s counsel Mumtaz Ali was proceeding towards the court when the premier’s nephew charged towards him and slapped him multiple times, while saying “someone represented my client in the court and you didn’t even stop him.”

As per details, the FIA representative approached Ramna police station in the federal capital and filed an application, seeking action against Niazi. Police officials say they will act according to the law, while FIA high-ups say they will take the matter to its logical conclusion.
