LAHORE: A female student Monday committed suicide by jumping off the rooftop of her university’s building.
According to details, Roushan Farrukh, an arts and design student of the fifth semester at a private university in Lahore, jumped down the building; receiving severe injuries.
She was rushed to General Hospital where she succumbed to her wounds during treatment.
The reason behind the suicide has not yet been ascertained while the body has been handed over to heirs without legal proceedings over the family’s refusal to lodge a case.
