HOUSTON: Former federal minister Jam Mashooq Ali passed away on Tuesday in Houston.
Media reports said that Jam Mashooq was under treatment in a hospital in America.
Leaders from various political parties are extending condolences upon the death of the veteran politican.
Hailing from the Sanghar District of Sindh, Maqsood was the son of former Sindh chief minister Jam Sadiq Ali who rose to prominence following a crackdown against Pakistan People’s Party in the early 90s.
Jam Mashooq also served as an adviser to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif during the last stint of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz.
