Shehyar Afridi visits Kalaya, condoles over deaths of blast victims

HANGU: State Minister for Interior Shehyar Afridi on Sunday visited Kalaya Orakzai and condoled over the death of bomb blast victims.

During the visit, state minister met with the bereaved families and expressed solidarity with them. He said that the government shares their grief in this hour of need.

Accompanied by Sector Commander Ghaljo, Orakzai Scouts commandant, deputy commissioner, he also visited the site of the blast and offered prayers for the victims.

Talking to a delegation of tribal elders in Kalaya Headquarters, he that said enemies are trying to destabilise the country by terror attacks, adding that their nefarious designs would be foiled.

He said that the nation is united and on the same page to defend the country against enemies.

The minister said that they have to shun our differences and work in cohesion for the safety and security of the motherland.

He also assured a package of Rs1 million for each for the martyred, Rs500,000 for each critical injured and Rs100,000 for the minor injured.
