PTI’s main focus is to provide basic facilities, says CM Buzdar

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar said on Sunday that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government’s main focus is to raise the living standard of the common man by providing basic facilities.

While meeting different delegations in his office, he said: “We are working hard to bring New Pakistan into practical form. Every one of us has to play his part and move forward with solidarity for it. We are working hard to bring the dream of ‘New Pakistan’ to come true.”

He added that everything in Punjab is being done with merit as the only mission of PTI government is to serve the public.

He said that his government will give relief to the public by promoting good governance and rule of law under the vibrant leadership of PM Imran Khan. Corruption will be eradicated from the country, he promised.

During the meetings, he said that the PTI government aims to attain a stable economy in order to strengthen Pakistan. He said that the country cannot move forward without a stabilised economy.

CM Buzdar said that a strategy is being devised in order to attract investors in the country as positive policies of the government will bring foreign investment.

“Punjab is the most appropriate province for investment and we will provide a peaceful environment and all needful resources to investors,” the CM said and added that public service and development will be provided as priorities. He claimed that reforms are being introduced in every sector with practical steps.

The chief minister said that the PTI government will remain vigilant to fulfil all promises. “Public service and development of the country will give people new and prosperous Pakistan,” he said and added that they are ready to confront every challenge in order to attain ‘New Pakistan’ while warning his rivals that no hindrance will be tolerated in this regard.

DEMISE OF SAIFUR REHMAN’S SON:

CM Buzdar expressed sorrow over the demise of the son of senior journalist and a life member of Lahore Press Club (LPC) Mian Saif-ur-Rehman. In his condolence message, the CM prayed eternal peace for the departed soul and patience for his family to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude.
