LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Central Spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb while terming the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) government’s 100-day plan a tale of 100 U-turns, has said that the useless government was trying to take credit for projects and initiated by the PML-N government after failing to do anything on their own.

Marriyum condemned PTI’s act of attributing PML-N government projects and successes to themselves and said that it showed how sad the state of affairs really is. “This was because the government has nothing to show for these 100 days other than their incompetence and inability,” she said.

Marriyum said that the PTI government was busy taking another one of its signature U-turns of lying to the people by putting their name tag on PML-N’s projects. She said that this theft was nothing new for PTI, as stealing is the party’s cornerstone which they proved by stealing the mandate of Pakistan’s people in the 2018 elections.

She said that the list of PTI achievements in the past 100 days is ridiculous instead of impressive. “From the miracle of the prime minister’s (PM) visit to Saudi Arabia on a camel and his illegal occupation of government land in Bani Gala to the millions of jobs and houses built on Google, those who vowed to commit suicide instead of borrowing money went begging from country to country and the government’s revolutionary economic turnaround policy was exposed,” Marriyum told.

Criticising PTI’s performance of 110 days, the PML-N central spokesperson asked the PM as to when he would tweet about Aleema Khan’s illegal assets. “When will the money looted by Aleema Khan be brought by Prime Minister Imran Khan who used to shout claims of bringing every penny of looted public money and evaded tax back to Pakistan?” she questioned.

The former information minister also said that Pakistan was days away from experiencing an earth-shattering and U-turn of the incumbent government which would be the results of the 100 days plan. “The people of Pakistan will be presented with the 100 lies and 100 U-turns,” she said.

“The irony of the entire situation is unmistakable, as the government which was slinging mud in the name of accountability for political vengeance had to face disgrace when money laundering was revealed from their closest ranks in the form of the PM’s sister, Aleema Khan,” Marriyum said.

She said that the government’s most significant achievement in these 100 days is the NRO given to Aleema Khan. “Before taking a grand U-turn on your 100 days claim, you should be aware of the fact that the people of Pakistan are watching your every move and know your lying strategy, Imran Khan,” said Marriyum.

Meanwhile, Pakistan People’s Party leader Aitzaz Ahsan said that the 100-day plan has become an embarrassment to the government.

Ahsan said that the PTI should not have made tall claims because no government can achieve such goals, at least not within 100 days of coming to power.
