Twitter has suspended the official account of the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) after it claimed responsibility for the attack on Chinese consulate in Karachi on Friday.
The militant organisation had uploaded pictures of the attackers who targeted the Chinese consulate situated in Karachi’s Clifton area, leaving at least four people dead.
The long-overdue suspension comes after hundreds of Twitterati in Pakistan reported the account following the tweet claiming responsibility of the attack.
It is worth mentioning here that it is not the first time BLA has claimed responsibility for a terror attack in the country on its Twitter handle.
Earlier this year, the group had confirmed that one of its suicide bombers had targeted a bus carrying employees of Saindak Copper-Gold Project in Dalbandin.
