SARGODHA: At least three people were killed and 12 others injured when the roof of a mosque collapsed here on Saturday, rescue sources said.
The dilapidated roof of a mosque located in the Sillanwali area of Sargodha district caved soon after people gathered under it for Maghrib prayers.
At least 15 people were buried under the debris of which three died while 12 others sustained injuries.
The locals and rescue personnel, through joint efforts, pulled out the bodies and injured from the rubble and shifted them to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities.
