A man in Taxila who had earlier reported his cousin’s murder turned out to be the murderer.
Sub-divisional Police Officer Hassanabdal circle DSP Tanveer Ahmed revealed that the complainant had killed his cousin out of suspicion of an affair with his wife.
On September 23, he reported that his cousin was killed during an encounter with robbers. They were going towards home when two armed men tried to rob them. Upon resistance, they opened fire and killed his cousin.
However, police investigated the case and looked at his cousin and wife’s phone conversations. They also questioned the complainant who confessed to having committed the crime.
