PESHAWAR: A female dancer was gunned down by her friend over the issue, not yet surface, here in the provincial capital on Friday-Saturday midnight. The accused fled the scene.
Police said that the incident took place in the jurisdiction of Kotwali police station in Peshawar where culprit Musaddiq gunned his female dancer friend identified as Sonia.
The accused fled the scene after committing the murder and the body was shifted to hospital where it was handed over to heirs after postmortem.
The reasons behind the killing could not be ascertained as yet. However, the police after registering a case against the murderer have started raids for his arrest.
