LAHORE – The centre of power in Punjab, the head of the provincial government, Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar Wednesday asked his party leadership if he could finally visit Lahore Zoo this Sunday, The Dependent has reliably learnt.
The chief executive of Punjab, Buzdar reminded the leaders of the ruling Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf that it had already been two months and 26 days and he’s yet to meet the giraffes.
“I have heard there are South African giraffes,” the parliamentary head said in a WhatsApp chat with the recipient’s name being saved as Wadda Jahaaz.
“I also want to see the elephants, chimpanzees, the rhino as well. Can I have two cone ice-creams as well, please?” questioned the highest executive in the most powerful province of Pakistan.
Throughout the WhatsApp conversation, screenshots of which are exclusively available with The Dependent, Chief Minister Buzdar was the only one who messaged, with all messages being seen by the recipient without a reply.
“You also promised me the fun camel cart ride on Mall Road when we completed two months. I haven’t had Chamman Ice cream because I still haven’t had the fun ride,” the head of the provincial ruling authority said in the WhatsApp conversation.
At press time the power centre in Punjab was told he could visit Bagh-e-Jinnah on Sunday, where he could have one stick of cotton candy.
