Female badminton player Mahoor Shahzad became the first Pakistani player to reach among top 200 players in international rankings.
According to sports journalist Sohail Imran, after Bahrain’s International Badminton Series earlier this month, Mahoor Shahzad reached the ranking of 192, making her the first Pakistani player to be among top 200.

The Karachi-based badminton player won the 2017 Pakistan International Tournament of badminton. She has also taken part in the 2014 Asian Games and 2018 Commonwealth Games.
According to Badminton World Federation (BWF) website, after 18 wins in her career, the 22-year old is currently ranked at 192.
