PESHAWAR: The police here on Friday arrested three members of a gang suspected of printing fake Pakistani currency notes.
The arrests were made during a raid at a godown here. Police also managed to seize Rs60 million worth of fake currency notes from the site.
According to a police spokesman, the fake currency was in denominations of Rs5,000, Rs1,000 and Rs500.
“Efforts are underway to arrest the remaining members of the gang,” police said.
