MITHI: A pitiless man axed his own daughter to death and critically injured another here on Thursday after which the police arrested the accused.
Police said that accused Sagram Bhail, who was annoyed over a ‘domestic issue’, attacked his two teenage daughters with an axe in the Khaitalri village, some 60 kilometer away from Mithi – the district Headquarter of Tharparkar.
One girl identified as Sameena, 15, was killed in the attack while another Jamna, 12, was critically injured.
The body and injured were shifted to Taluka Hospital Diplo for the medico-legal formalities.
The police arrested the accused after registering a case against him at the concerned police station and started an investigation.
