ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Affairs Naeemul Haq Sunday said that Prime Minister Imran Khan would soon announce revolutionary steps for poverty alleviation from the country.
Talking to PTV, he said Prime Minister Imran Khan was impressed by China in overcoming poverty and improving agriculture sector.
He said Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) was negotiating with China regarding agriculture reforms and poverty alleviation from last one year, way before establishing its government in the in the Centre.
Naeemul Haq said the agriculture sector was always ignored in the country but the incumbent government would bring improvement in this sector through introducing reforms.
Replying to a question, he said PTI had always supported China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project because it would be helpful in strengthening the national economy.
