Punjab Health Department, along with the team of a private media outlet, has busted a self-proclaimed dentist whose only qualification to operate as a surgeon was a matriculation certificate.
According to the media outlet, the quack, operating in Pattoki, first claimed that he was “only helping” those with oral problems as the doctor visited the clinic in the evening; however, later he did not only confess that he was operating as a dentist but also of not being a medical graduate.
“I am only a matriculate,” said the quack when asked about his qualification.
As the drug inspector interrogated the quack, it also emerged that he was using unregistered medicines and was even unable to read the names of drugs he was administering to those visiting the clinic.
He also revealed that he was working as a “dentist” for about 40 to 45 years.
