SIALKOT: A minor sustained injuries after being hit by a vehicle belonging to the motorcade of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Monday.
As per the details, the incident took place in Sialkot when the child, Wasiullah, was heading back home from school. He was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical assistance while the driver of the car was identified as Rauf Subhani.
According to hospital staff, the child is now out of danger and has been sent back home.
On the other hand, CM Buzdar has taken notice of the incident and sought a report in this regard.
According to a statement issued here, Sialkot deputy commissioner and DPO were directed by the chief minister to visit the residence of the injured child.
They inquired after his health and presented financial aid to the family.
The father of the child has also forgiven the driver.
It is worth mentioning here that CM Buzdar had visited Sialkot to inaugurate the Head Marala Hydro Power Project.
