LAHORE: Pakistan middle-order batsman Umar Akmal and West Indies spinner Sunil Narine will represent Quetta Gladiators in Pakistan Super League4 (PSL4).
According to a press release, Narine and Akmal will be traded to Gladiators while Rahat Ali and Hassan Khan will represent Qalandars in the next season.
Narine, with his 299 T20I appearances and 342 wickets across different leagues and tournaments in the world, will bring a lot of experience for the team. Meanwhile, Akmal with his 556 runs at the strike rate of 138 in his 20 PSL appearances will bring much needed hard hitting for the team.
Earlier, it was reported that Brendon McCullum also parted his ways with the Qalandars after two seasons. He captained the side for two years but it remained at bottom of the table for both years.
