ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) has summoned report from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) within 6 weeks in the Asghar Khan case.
A three-member bench of SC presided over by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar took up the case for hearing on Friday.
FIA DG told the court that notices to 17 persons were issued in this case, however, they have not reached the court due to blockage of roads.
Talks are underway with the ministry of defence on this matter. The defence ministry has constituted a high powered committee in this respect.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case for six weeks.
