Sindh Rangers Director General Major General Muhammad Saeed on Thursday warned of an appropriate action to be taken in case the protests in Karachi get out of control, and said that all appropriate measures will be taken against those who would be responsible in order to maintain the law and order situation.

He further said that the action would be taken as per the directives of the federal government, a private media outlet reported.

The protests had erupted across the country including in Karachi after the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan had acquitted Aasiya Bibi on Wednesday in a blasphemy case, ordering her release in case she is not wanted in any other case.
