Two young boys killed during cricket matches

SWABI: Two young boys have been killed during an exchange of harsh words while playing separate cricket matches in different areas of the district, Swabi Police informed on Wednesday.

Zartaj Taj lodged a first information report (FIR) in Gadoon Police Station stating that his 18-year-old son Noor Taj was killed by his cousin Ziaur Rehman during a cricket match.

Similarly, Sher Nawab Khan lodged an FIR at the Tordher Police Station stating that his son Nazir was killed by Ahmad Ali due to a petty quarrel during a cricket match.

The police have registered both cases and started investigations.
