LAHORE: Punjab Services & General Administration Department (S&GAD) on Wednesday notified that Lahore CCPO [Capital City Police Officer] would continue his services for now as the notification of his successor’s transfer and posting was held in abeyance.
The department’s notification of 28.10.2018 appointing Zulfiqar Hameed (PSP/BS-20) as the Lahore CCPO is held in abeyance till the completion of his National Management Course on 15.12.2018, read the notification.
“B A Nasir (PSP/BS-21) is allowed to continue as Capital City Officer, Lahore,” it added.
It merits a mention here that on Sunday, the Punjab government made large-scale transfers and postings in the police department across the province.
According to a notification issued by S&GAD, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Zulfiqar Hameed was transferred and posted as the Lahore CCPO.
