KHAIRPUR: A man axed his minor daughter to death and injured his wife and two children for a delay in serving breakfast on Wednesday.
Police said that the accused, who hails from suburbs of Khairpur, asked his wife for breakfast but she told him to wait for a few minutes.
When his wife failed to serve breakfast after half an hour, he got furious and attacked her and his children with an axe. His minor daughter was axed to death and the others were injured.
The body and injured were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities where at least one was in critical condition.
The police arrested the murderer, recovered the axe and after registering a case against him at the concerned police station started an investigation.
