GWADAR: Five labourers were killed and three others injured in firing by unknown persons on Wednesday, security officials said.
Security officials said that the incident took place in Ganz area of Jewani in Gwadar district where unidentified armed men attacked labourers of a private company who were engaged in a development project.
Two of those five labourers were from Karachi.
The bodies and injured were shifted to hospital in Gwadar for medico-legal formalities.
Meanwhile, a case was been registered against unknown assailants and an investigation was underway.
