Amir Muqam appears before NAB in assets beyond means cases

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) President Ameer Muqam on Wednesday appeared before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in ‘assets beyond known means of income’ case.

He has also been handed over a questionnaire to answer in the ongoing graft probe.

Muqam is accused of buying properties in Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar, purchasing agricultural land in his native city Swat and having several bank accounts in his name despite not having enough income.

KP NAB had initiated an inquiry against Ameer Muqam in July after orders of the NAB Chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal.

NAB had acquired the complete record of Ameer Muqam’s properties.

NAB is also probing Ameer Muqam’s wife, his two daughters, four sons in the case.
