KARACHI: The entrance test for medical colleges being conducted across Sindh on Sunday was leaked on Saturday night.
The test was being sold in Hyderabad, Larkana and Dadu areas of the province and a number of people have been arrested by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for over the leak.
However, National Testing Service (NTS) head Syed Masood Hussain Rizvi denied that the exam had been leaked.
“The paper that was being distributed is old,” he said.
“Ignore the date that is mentioned on the paper that was being sold,” he added.
“It is the responsibility of NTS to prepare and transport the tests to centres,” said Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU) Vice Chancellor Dr Tariq Rafi.
Liaquat Medical University vice chancellor also supported Rafi’s claims.
“We have nothing to do with the leak as the test is overlooked by NTS,” he said.
The tests are being held across the Sindh province.
