LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Wednesday said that there exists an impregnable bond of mutual respect between the people of Pakistan and Turkey and both countries continue to enjoy eternal friendship.
He said this in a message of congratulations to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the people of Turkey on their national day.
The chief minister said that masses in Pakistan and Turkey are linked together in historical ties of love, brotherhood and togetherness. Turkey has attained unimaginable development under the vibrant leadership of the incumbent president who worked hard to serve his people selflessly, he added.
He vowed that 22 million people of Pakistan will follow the footsteps of Turkey and work hard to make the country prosperous.
“Whether it is an earthquake, flood or any other natural calamity, Turkey has always given robust support to Pakistan and has always favoured Pakistan’s point of view on international forums,” he said.
The chief minister also said that the nation of Pakistan feels proud of the unprecedented development of their brother country and this relation of love and respect will remain there forever. He further said that the people of both countries will always stand with each other in the times of joy and gloom.
