Star kids are the paparazzi’s favourite, even more than the stars themselves sometimes. Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s boy Taimur, in particular is a paparazzi favourite. Videos and pictures of the chote nawab, who will soon be turning two, often dominate our social media feeds.
However, it has now been revealed that this might come to a stop.
According to a report in India Today, Saif has requested the media to not to click pictures of Taimur, as he is at an age, where he has begun to register things in his mind more consciously. Saif and Kareena don’t want Taimur to be affected by the paparazzi culture and have thus told the paparazzi to stop standing outside their residence and refrain from taking pictures of the toddler.
Saif and Kareena in various interviews have voiced their concerns over the constant media glare their child faces.
Saif, in a previous appearance, on raising son Taimur in the media spotlight said, “Our [Saif and Kareena] job is to keep him balanced. I think Indian parents like us, like my parents, have a slightly tough time trying to put good moral values and basic family values into kids who grow up with too much attention. And it is possible. So, we hope that he is going to grow up fine and we’re very conscious of it.”
Kareena on the matter had remarked, “I do not like the fact that every day, Taimur’s moves are being monitored and you know, pictures are being out, what he’s doing, what he’s wearing, discussing his hairstyle.”
She added that Taimur is “kind of getting used to” being a paparazzi favourite and upon observation noted that he has now started posing for the cameras.
