Ministry of Kashmir Affairs-Lok Virsa screen documentaries on Black Day

ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan in collaboration with National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage (Lok Virsa) on Saturday observed Black day by organising a screening of documentaries on the large projector at Heritage Museum Hall, highlighting the atrocities being committed by Indian armed forces in the occupied Kashmir.

The with Lok Virsa organised the event. Lok Virsa Executive Director Shaheera Shahid also attended the inaugural session of the documentaries screening.

The documentaries screening was started from 10 am to 8 pm at the Museum Hall. A large number of students from various schools of federal capital participated in the film screening.

A large number of Lok Virsa visitors also participated in the documentaries screening to express solidarity with the Kashmiri brothers.

The event was aimed to highlights atrocities committed by the Indian forces on the innocent Kashmiri people struggling for their right of self-determination in the occupied Kashmir.

Banners bearing slogans in support of the Kashmir cause have also been displayed at prominent locations at Lok Virsa premises, Shakarparian. A black flag was also hoisted at Lok Virsa premises.

Black Day is observed annually on October 27 as the day when India forcibly took over the land of Kashmir.
